The 2006 Brad Paisley Foundation Ornament
The Brad Paisley Foundation, a private, charitable Foundation, was created in December 2001 by Brad Paisley.
The Foundation qualifies as a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The purpose of the Brad Paisley Foundation is to provide funding for distributions to various charities. In the past, the Foundation has financially donated to many organizations to assist in the accomplishment of those agencies' objectives.
The charities supported by the Brad Paisley Foundation include the Children's Miracle Network, Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospitals, St. Jude Research Hospital, The American Cancer Society and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society plus many local Upper Ohio Valley Charities from his home area. Also, a scholarship for the performing arts was endowed by Brad at his alma mater, John Marshall High School in Glen Dale, West Virginia.
The Foundation is managed by a Board of Trustees, who oversee the disbursement of funds to worthy charities. All members of the Board of Trustees serve voluntarily, without compensation.
The Brad Paisley Foundation maintains a trust account with WesBanco Trust & Investment Services, a division of WesBanco Bank, Inc. in Wheeling, WV.
